• Founded in 1997, the WNAG is one of the most prominent, prestigious and respected societies in its field today.

• The WNAG name is recognized as a leader in its field for the conservation cause. Through the “WNAG Art for Conservation” program, WNAG artists have donated and pledged over $6.5 million in the last 12 months to numerous conservation-oriented organizations around the world. Collectively, its members have individually raised tens of millions of dollars for conservation. Special awards have been created to honour the efforts and generosity of individual members. One award has been named in honour of a renowned British artist, Simon Combes, who died in 2004. The Group, unique in its efforts in this area, is fast becoming a fund-raising force for the conservation cause.

• The WNAG recently launched the WNAG Flag Expeditions Program - created to make possible the field study and artistic rendering of endangered species or habitats in remote parts of the world, deserving of greater public attention. WNAG Signature Members can apply to obtain financial support, additional exposure and the privilege of carrying the WNAG flag on their journey.

• The WNAG is currently planning a number of exciting live initiatives and programs including an international nature art festival, public gallery, permanent collection, special trips, workshops, and publications.
